Graypaw and Firepaw tell Bluestar that the timid apprentice Ravenpaw had died in the battle, and as much as she grieves, Bluestar gives the pair their warrior names – Graystripe and Fireheart. Ultimately, Thistleclaw was killed by a RiverClan patrol, and descended to the Dark Forest, where he attacked and severely wounded Antpelt where Antpelt later died from his injuries.
