I've had a number of intake manifolds powder coated. The powder coating holds up really well to fuel and other chemicals, too. Last one I had done was a few years ago. It was an Edelbrock Super Vic and the cost to have it powder coated was ~$90. Turned out really nice!

They have thermal insulating qualities as well as anti corrosion qualities that the painted headers don't have.
